Vedic Civilization (Vedic Age)

The period when the Vedic literature was written is known as Vedic Age. Vedic literature includes all the four Vedasă…ˇRigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharva Veda. Besides Vedas, Vedic literature also includes Samhitas, Aranyakas and Upnishads. There are indications that the whole of Vedic literature was created between 1500 B.C. and 200 B.C. and this is the duration known as Vedic Age.
